Privacy
Beta notice — pending legal review. This page describes honestly how Trypn behaves today. It is not yet a reviewed legal privacy policy, and it makes no promises about statutory retention or deletion periods.
What Trypn stores
Your account email, the trips you create, the things you save to a trip inbox (including anything you upload), the preferences you state, and the choices you make inside a trip.
What Trypn learns
Trypn can infer patterns from your choices — pace, the kinds of places you keep. You can switch this off, inspect every inference, dismiss individual ones, or clear the lot. Turning learning off stops anything new from being used.
Uploads
Screenshots and documents are stored privately. They are only ever served to you, through short-lived links. Unsupported file types are refused rather than interpreted.
Location
Trypn does not track you. If you share where you are for live help, that point is used for that session and is deleted with the session — automatically after 30 days, or immediately when you clear your live help history.
Usage measurements
Trypn records a fixed, closed list of product events — things like "a plan was built" or "an item was saved" — with your account id and no trip contents, no free text and no place names. Repeat sends of the same event are discarded. These are used to see whether the product works, and they are removed when you delete your account.
Feedback you send
Feedback is stored separately from your trips. It keeps which screen you were on, and the trip or place reference if you sent it from one, plus anything you typed. It never changes a stored fact about a venue: a wrong-fact report is queued for a person to look at, and it is shown as your report rather than as verified.
Outside services
Place details come from a place data provider so they can be sourced rather than invented. Assisted wording uses an AI service. Neither receives your account email, and model reasoning is never stored.
Deleting everything
Settings and privacy has a delete button. It removes your trips, inbox, uploads, preferences, learning, health checks and live sessions, then your sign-in itself. Counts of how often outside services were called are kept for cost and reliability with your identity stripped out. Facts about real venues stay — they are shared reference data and contain nothing about you.
Contact
During the beta, use the feedback control on any page, or the support page. A support message never carries your trip contents unless you paste them in yourself.
